Agricultural and related products are now available to suit your specific requirements from Silvan’s new division – Silvan Custom Build. Silvan now provides custom built spraying, water transfer, diesel transfer, dust suppression and land care products nationally.
Silvan’s leading position in the spraying equipment industry has given us excellent buying power. This coupled with our manufacturing engineering experience means we can provide professional advice to bring the most creative ideas to reality quickly and efficiently.
Silvan is an importer and distributor of an extensive range of components including pumps, tanks, controllers, nozzles, hydraulic fittings and valves; a wide range of essential components that can be relied upon for immediate application.

WHAT CAN WE CUSTOM BUILD FOR YOU?
Our engineering team can design and fabricate anything from chassis’ through to slashers if you require a specific design including spraying equipment, water and diesel transfer units and other tank related products that utilise our range of UV stabilised Polytuff tanks and 12-volt through to high pressure engine driven pumps.
Some examples of custom builds requested by contractors, councils and the rural sector have been outlined below:
Custom built tray mount sprayer
A Perth Council approached Silvan Australia to build a sprayer to be mounted on the rear of a Nissan Navara utility. The brief for the project was to make the sprayer as “green” as possible so a petrol driven pump could not be used. They wanted full GPS guidance available with an electric controller and reversing camera. Also fitted were traffic diversion arrow sticks and beacons. To dispense the chemical a 6 metre field boom was fitted and a 50m hose reel with spray gun.
Custom built portable sprayer
David Evans Group Millmerran had the local council approach them requesting a portable sprayer to fit into their RTV for weed control spraying. Not only was the dimensions and weight of the unit an important requirement, it had to be fitted with a high capacity 12 volt pump to enable the future flexibility of a boom to be added. A 300 litre Squatpak tank was used and fitted with an Aquatec high capacity 12 volt pump along with a compact pressure regulator and gauge kit. A hose reel mounted directly to fixed mount points on the tank was another key inclusion.
Custom built 400 litre bunded diesel transfer unit
A well known boat hire company in Western Australia required a 400 litre bunded diesel fuel tank to fill their forklift and a number of tender boats with diesel. As the unit would be used out at sea and close to the ocean the bunding needed to be made from aluminium. Consideration was also given to the environment by minimising any spill risks. Forklift pockets were added to the bund to ensure safe transport.
Custom built 1000 litre trailed sprayer
Farmworld NT, a Silvan dealer in Northern Territory had a local customer that required a 1000 litre trailed unit for use in a variety of applications including dust suppression and wastewater disposal. The unit was configured and supplied with a 6.5hp Selecta Power fire pump fitted specially with Viton seals, it also featured the Teejet Boomjet boomless nozzle, heavy duty fire reel, 3 section control kit and a number of other key inclusions. The unit was built meeting specific needs of the customer as a flexible multi-purpose unit.

2: Silvan will assess your build request and provide you with a quotation within 5 working days.
3: On quote acceptance, an order is placed with Silvan for the unit detailed in the final quote.
4: Your Silvan Custom Build unit is delivered with Operators Manual, Installation Certificate and conditional manufacturer’s Warranty.
